FITTING WATER TANKS ON
CANAL BOATS & NARROWBOATS

Fitting a water tank on a canal boat is completed after insulation but before a sub floor goes down.

Fit the water tank into position after insulation but before the sub-floor goes down. This will give you room to work with regards to top tank fittings and the outlet for the pump. Water tanks can be made from stainless steel or plastic. Consider access to fittings when offering the tank into the allocated space as you may find it is easier to lay plumbing and electrical supply tails before embarking on first fix proper.
